Dive into the universe of a deeply humanist author and illustrator combining at the same time a sharp pen and a dazzling sense of colors.

Through storyboards, pencil drawings and original comics pages, this retrospective dedicated to Cyril Pedrosa explores the working process of a comics artist. Through the study of the relationship between the artist and colors, the exhibition explains to the public how the coloring of comics pages works, with details regarding the process of realization of the "blue", digital or traditional technics. Serious thematics like introspection and political activism are dealt within Pedrosa's work, studied through the lens of colors and lighting. The visitors will also find easter eggs concerning his recent contemporary art and animated movies projects.

The exhibition's curatorship is done between 9e Art Références and Odyssud's hands with the assistance of the Galerie Miyu and is unveiled for the first time at Odyssud (Blagnac) from september 30th to december 23rd 2023. The exhibition is then expected to move from town to town.
