Explore a master of comics art's incredible universe
From the mythical Quête de l'oiseau du temps (1983-1987), first French-Belgian heroic fantasy comics, to Mickey — Café Zombo (2016), tribute to comics from the 1930s as well as the fabulous world of Peter Pan (1990-2004) and the fresco of Magasin général (2006- 2014), Régis Loisel depicts imaginary worlds, but also historically accurate stories with a gentle familiarity and a breathtaking energy. Pioneer of an art style based on feelings and emotions, the relationship Régis Loisel creates between his characters feels intimate and heartfelt, sometimes with a raw and comedic side to it. Dive into that fantastic universe by visiting the exhibition. (Source : Odyssud)
